Absolutely perfect for all non-soldering iron owners, and anti-hobbyists who have so far been afraid to buy such a kit!
This solderless, prewired kit should be installable by anyone with a small screwdriver. We have simply equipped the kit with an additional screw terminal row for the
pickups and ground connections. This makes it easy to connect the pickups and eliminates all soldering work. Due to the clear terminal row it is almost impossible to wire something wrong, and the
replacement should be done relatively quickly and as easily as possible even for inexperienced hobbyists. Except for the additional screw terminal row and the plugs of the toggle switch, the kit
is absolutely identical to the standard soldering kit. The connection terminals are only suitable for pickups with "modern" 2,3, and 4-conductor wire.
Pickups with "Vintage Braided Shield Wire" are very difficult to connect, see example pictures.
This wiring was used in the first Les Pauls until the end of the fifties. Below you can find a summary of the differences between 50's and Modern Wiring. The kit is suitable for humbuckers as well as P-90 pickups. For a clearer sound on the neck pickup (woman tone) we also have .015 uf Bumblebees in stock.

WHICH POTS AND WHICH SWITCH IS THE RIGHT ONE?
There are countless Les Paul models, and there are always more. In the different models different toggle switches and pots are used. All LP models with curved top until 1977 have short
pots and a long toggle switch. For the most common models since 1977 we have compiled a small overview below. To mount the long switch in the Les Paul you also need a "Deep Round Nut".
The Deep Round Nut extends the otherwise too short thread of the switch, and must be ordered separately.

BECAUSE WE ARE ONLY SATISFIED WITH THE BEST.
All our prewired kits have matched pots and caps. This means that we measure all potentiometers and capacitors before installation, select them, and use them according to their values where they
deliver the best possible result in combination with the pickups. This is important because original pots have tolerances of up to +-20%. In extreme cases, a 500k pot can have values of only 400k
or up to 600k ohms. Not infrequently good pickups are replaced unnecessarily, because they sound muddy, weak or thin. In reality, however, the problem is often not due to bad pickups, but simply
to inferior wiring, which mercilessly destroys the actually perfect sound.
We compared enormous quantities of capacitors in interaction with various pickups and thus determined the most suitable tone caps under real conditions. The capacitors are hand-selected HQ film
capacitors with very low tolerance, very similar in design to the originals from the fifties. The vintage paper wax skin gives the caps an additional look. Our capacitors are so close to the
originals of the 50's that nobody will hear a difference.
In all our kits only the best components from well-known manufacturers like CTS, Switchcraft, CRL or Oak Grigsby are used. All kits are carefully manufactured in small quantities and
professionally handcrafted, and delivered to satisfied customers all over the world.
